Easter Readathon Wrap Up
Hi,
Today I’m going to do little reviews of all 3 books I read during the Readathon whilst sunbathing in the garden which was lovely.
I started off reading Hold still by Nina LaCour which was very similar to And the starts were burning brightly. I read them one after the other so I was obviously in the mood for this kind of book. I loved Ninas We are Okay and this one lived up to my expectations. I would say it has self harm and suicide trigger warnings as some parts are quite intense. This being said I absolutely loved the way it was written and all the characters. So I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Next I read Run Rebel By Manjeet Mann which is a definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read! This verse novel packed a punch emotionally. Dealing with big topics of domestic abuse in such a raw and direct way made me want to know whats going to happen next. The sense of desperation but also hope was evident throughout and I just loved all of the characters!

Lastly I read Chelsea High by Jenny Oliver which I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The UK Release date is 28th May! It was a much needed easy read for me. Overall it is just a great coming of age book dealing with how to fit in at a new school, romance, friendships and family. Lastly I really enjoyed the concept of Norah living on a houseboat and the current court trial her dad is in. I Loved how it ended!
Thanks for Reading.
