YA BOOK REVIEW: NOTHING EVER HAPPENS HERE
Hi,
Today I’ll be reviewing a book that I saw Sarah from https://thelittlecontemporarycorner.com recommend.
I give this amazing book by Sarah Hagger-Holt a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5. Was lovely to sit outside and read a good chunk of it.

Isabelle is the main character who’s in year 8 at school. When her dad tells the family he is going to transition into a woman, the whole of Littlehaven find out too. Meaning Danielle and the family deal with prejudice from children and adults.
It focuses on the friendships and how families pull together in tough times as well as finding your voice through things that make you happy in this case musical theatre and art.
I enjoyed the whole story, found it easy to read and feel it is accessible and needed for children 10+ so they can be aware and accepting of different people to them.
Thanks for reading, Have you read this book?
